Watch Red Rum Club’s frontman Fran Doran give an exclusive interview with Keith Mullin before the Liverpool band performs their single ‘Honey’ during a Signature Live Session.

Formed in early 2016, Red Rum Club are a sextet from Liverpool, channelling ‘Tarantino-esque’ wild western vibes with the help of a solitary trumpet.

Delivering a modern twist of poetic lyrics set against driving, melodic sounds of early 60s guitar riffs, they’ve created a unmistakable and distinct style unique to Red Rum.

The Liverpool band has toured the UK four times without an agent, getting gigs purely through the power of their music and an ever growing support base. They’ve played a number of summer festivals including SoundCity, IOW, Tramlines and LIMF.

Red Rum Club also recently topped the industry vote in the prestigious Pirate Prodigies UK Best Emerging Band and have signed a record deal with Modern Sky UK. Their debut album, recorded at the iconic Parr Street Studios, is due out in October to coincide with a UK tour #jointheclub.
