I'm in love with television. I'm so in love with television that I've made a full podcast about it and practically half of another (links down below).

I also want to write television one day, and the history of pilots and syndication (things to both have and aspire to) has been a fascination of mine since I realized that there was a business of TV (aka, in high school).

Over the last six years since I moved to LA, the industry has changed. COVID-19 is changing it even more. So, here are my thoughts on the history of pilots and (specifically) syndication - and how everything's shaking out currently (at least to my knowledge).

Info for this video came mostly from my head and college, but Showrunners is a great resource. It's a documentary about the people who actually MAKE TV.
