Exploring The Redwood Highway in the Northwest Corner of California

Описание к видео Exploring The Redwood Highway in the Northwest Corner of California

The Redwood Highway has been called one of the most scenic drives in California. In California's far north, US Route 101 travels through the world's tallest and only extensive old-growth redwood preserves as it travels up and down the coast.

While the Redwood Highway is 350 miles in length, in this video we travel the last 35 miles of the highway in the northwest corner of California, where we take in incredible views, drive amongst the redwoods, visit one of the oldest lighthouses in the state in Crescent City, see the incredible effort to combat massive waves, abandoned roadside attractions, and talk a little about the area's dark history as well.

In addition, we visit the exact northwest corner of California (and southwest corner of Oregon too).
