OK, so integrated tests aren't always a scam, but the scam is real and it hasn't gone away.
We have spent some time and energy getting people's attention, but I worry that we're not doing enough to help people truly benefit from the alternatives we've offered them.
I'll take a look back at the original talk, formulate some parts of it differently, assess what we've achieved and what we've failed to achieve, propose some next steps, and offer a heartfelt and long-overdue apology---almost certainly not in that order.
