"You can also use 1 monster your opponent controls as material to Link Summon this card."

So, if you lose control of Masquerena before its effect resolves you can't use Masquerena as material or Link Summon because you don't control it which is different from something like Fallen of Albaz where you can still Fusion Summon after your opponent takes control of Albaz using their monsters and Albaz.

So will Masquerena's control matter when resolving a Link Summon for Underworld Goddess? I decided to find out in no better place than the Yu-Gi-Oh! Court Room... Master Duel.

Conclusion: Neat interaction with the conditions of these two cards as it forces the player to Summon Goddess; Goddess's condition fulfills Masquerena's controller condition making it the only legal Summon. Also the Goddess is still indestructible as normal made by the Masquerena even if used from opponent's field.
