Firstly, thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragedy. These shots were taken around various parts of Columbia South Carolina with the majority of shots covering the eastern side of the city. Our initial purpose for traveling to Columbia was to assist with any search and rescue efforts that were taking place and to provide any assistance to local LE. We felt the need to also document this historic event as it could help with future rebuilding of these areas and for educational purposes.

There were no violations that took place during the capturing of this footage. Safety precautions were priority for each flight. There were also no TFR's on this day. There were heli's that would come in low on occasion and the right away was always given to them. Any flights made with heli's nearby were kept under 100' AGL with a close eye on their AGL of approx. 400'
