Opus 1 Summerfest Music Programme 2022

𝐎𝐏𝐔𝐒 𝟏 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭: 𝐀 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠

This year’s Opus 1 Summerfest Gala Concert, organised by the Opus 1 Music Foundation (“Opus 1”) and supported by CTFEG and ARCH Education, was a symphony of inspiration and empowerment for the brightest young musicians from Hong Kong and other parts of the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
For the second year in a row, the Opus 1 Summerfest, an acclaimed youth music programme, brought together world-renowned musicians and aspiring young talents for a transformative experience that culminated in an enchanting Gala Concert. The programme also served to enhance the strong cultural bond between Hong Kong and other cities in the GBA.
This year’s Opus 1 Summerfest showcased 13 of the brightest rising stars in Hong Kong between the ages of 12 and 18. Every student admitted to Summerfest was awarded a full merit scholarship by the Opus 1 Music Foundation, with support from CTFEG and private donors, and completed a week-long residency leading up to the Opus 1 Summerfest Gala Concert. Through this music outreach programme, students in Hong Kong and other cities in GBA are growing as individuals while creating social impact in their community!
