Sometimes the amazon seller app won't display any results when scanning books. Or sometimes the thrift stores that your scanning books at love to cover the barcode with stickers and whatnot. Try using the regular amazon app and use the camera function to scan the cover. It's much quicker than typing in the title of the book.
