10.2 Gas Laws Including the Ideal Gas Law | General Chemistry

Описание к видео 10.2 Gas Laws Including the Ideal Gas Law | General Chemistry

Chad provides a comprehensive lesson on the Ideal Gas Law and all the individual Gas Laws that led up to it including Boyle's Law (PV = constant), Charle's Law (V/T = constant), Avogadro's Principle (V/n = constant), and the Combined Gas Law. The tenets of Kinetic Molecular Theory are then presented in introducing the concept of an ideal gas and to explain how gases tend to behave more ideally at low pressures and high temperatures. Examples calculations are performed with both the Combined Gas Law and the Ideal Gas Law. The lesson is concluded with a calculation of root mean square speed and a presentation of Maxwell's Distribution of Speeds.

I've embedded this playlist as a course on my website with all the lessons organized by chapter in a collapsible menu and much of the content from the study guide included on the page. Check this lesson out at https://www.chadsprep.com/chads-gener...
