My BEST TOMATO VARIETIES This Season

This is a vegetable garden tour of my tomato garden, showcasing my best tomato varieties this season. Growing tomatoes in the Southeast tough due to our hot humid climates, which causes blossom drop and high disease pressure. These tomatoes are disease resistant and set fruit under hot, humid conditions!

This video focuses on larger slicer and beefsteak tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes produce easily in hot and humid climates, as well as resist disease well, so we don't need to showcase them. I'm showcasing bigger, meatier tomatoes because they suffer in places with hot, humid and wet summers. This plant tour highlights a mix of indeterminate tomatoes, determinate tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes and hybrid tomato plants that excel in tough conditions.

We're harvesting tomatoes throughout this video, and at the end, I have a short tomato taste test featuring one of my most productive tomatoes, the Big Beef tomato, against two of my best tasting tomato varieties.
