Solomon Airlines hosts 60th anniversary Aviation Fair at Honiara HQ to support local student careers

Solomon Airlines kicked off the program for its 60th Anniversary celebrations by staging a two-day Aviation Fair on the 26th and 27th October 2022 at their Henderson headquarters in Honiara. 160 students from 17 schools participated, providing them deep and valuable insights into airline and aviation operations and the Solomon Islands travel and tourism industry. Participants included various Solomon Airlines departments, the Ministry of Communication and Aviation, CAASI, Aviation Security and Fires Service, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Bio Security, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Tourism Solomons, the Ministry of Environment Meteorology Services, GTS, Travel Solomons, and St John Ambulance.
