Just days after the Paris attacks in which 130 people were killed and hundreds more injured, there's been a broad agreement on the need for stronger security laws.

That's the sentiment across Europe, particularly in France, Belgium and the UK.

These laws would include powers to crack down on what some politicians describe as radical Muslim places of worship.

But for many people living in Muslim communities, the focus on mosques is misplaced.

Especially in an age where ideas are spread more widely online and on social media.

So what roles should mosques play in Muslim communities?
