Oppo revealed its Fast VOOC 4.0 flash charge fast charging technology earlier this month, and revealed that it would launch the upcoming smartphone called Oppo K5. Although the company has not yet launched the phone, the major specifications of Oppo 5 have already surfaced online. The phone is said to have 30W fast charging support. It is also tapped to pack a 64-megapixel primary camera, to catch rivals such as the Redmi Note 8 Pro.

The Oppo K5 leak, which comes courtesy of a Weibo account named Digital Chat Station, claims that the phone will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage to tick. The tipster further notes that the Oppo K5 will have a 6.4-inch full-HD + (1080 x 2340 pixels) display. And if we look at the specifications of Oppo K3, then Oppo K5 will work with the highest AMOLED display.

Another major upgrade that the Oppo K5 has been asked to bring is in the imaging department. The Oppo K5 will reportedly pack a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary shooter, 8-megapixel sensor and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors. The front side will feature a 32-megapixel snapper, which is a major upgrade over the 16-megapixel front camera of the Oppo K3.

The phone is also tapped to include a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. There will be a USB Type-C port for charging and file transfer and thankfully the 3.5mm headphone jack has also reportedly been retained. The Oppo K5 is said to measure 158.7 x 75.2 x 8.6 mm and will tip the scales at 182 grams. So far, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is yet to confirm when the Oppo K5 will officially go to China and overseas markets including India.
