Welcome to the "UNBOX" channel!

This is the channel of pure unboxings, nothing unimportant in the videos for your viewing-pleasure!

Today I'm unboxing both Versions "I" and "II" of the Limited Edition F40 Controller by 8BitDo! Both were released as a celebration of the Famicoms 40th Anniversary. Since the Famicom had wired controllers (instead of the NES's detachable controllers), they gave them numbers "I" and "II" to differentiate both of them and 8BitDo released two versions, only difference being exactly that on the front of the controller.

Both of them were released as a Limited Edition with only 1983 units each. Each of them cost 80$ and they seem to be sold out.

This version also features metal sticks, so the feel is quite different to a standard Ultimate Controller this one is based on. But I really have to say that I disliked that aspect. Also I tested the regular one and although that one has plastic sticks, they rub against the plastic, which feels bad.

These look fantastic, but they don't feel feel great in the hand. The grips aren't ruberized and the corners are even sharper than the normal version. To be honest, it kills your hand after just 15 minutes. That's the reason I can't recommend the controller at all, no matter how good everything else could be. Also it is kinda small, so not really something for bigger hands.

This one can't unfortunately compete with any of the first party controllers, which is sad, because it could, if it didn't have these flaws.

Which controller do you prefer the most and what do you think about this controller? Let me know in the coments!
