Leptokaria (loosely translated: Village of Hazelnuts) is located in the district of Pieria, about 90 kilometers from Thessaloniki. This small town is located on the coast of the Aegean Sea, and under Mount Olympus, so that mountain and sea air currents meet here, giving Leptokarija the epithet of an air spa. The water in the water supply is filled from the spring on Olympus, so it is of very high quality.
