In this video, I fabricate the over-sized chalice which I nicknamed the Pope's Candy Dish.
Utilizing various "found" objects from around the shop, I forge and assemble these to create the overall shape. These pieces are welded together, ground and painted with a faux oil rubbed bronze finish. Components include forged skulls, laser-cut crosses, a steel ball, various steel hemispheres, and forged spikes. The resulting effect is unapologetic "in your face" Gothic horror.
