Montana Rail Link's West End!

This past July, I made a trip out to see the Montana Rail Link in what are likely its final months of operations. I started on the west end of the system around Missoula, following the line eastward towards Laurel. This 3-part series will cover my trip, starting with a chase of the Gas Local on the west end from Missoula to Thompson Falls, plus one other train (there was a lot of trackwork going on, so traffic was sparse the day I was on the west end).
