This news update includes a very disturbing look into WA's not distant history with racism. In which the Telethon fundraiser is being promoted with a Blackface minstrel performer. The likes of which were meant to have been long gone in the 60-70s. But somehow found itself appearing in a 1989 charity event. This is being posted for educational purposes, and I condemn the individuals who were involved in allowing such a disgustingly act of racism and bigotry to occur.

On this channel I post new 10ish minute compilations, every fortnight. With singular or groups of adverts, as well as larger videos (like documentary's, or news segments) filling up the time between uploads.

All of my content comes straight from a collection of VHS tapes I have come to possess. Where over the past 2 years, I have been converting them, deinterlacing them, shortening the runtime of the conversion (this means, removing duplicate ads, removing unnecessary content (Full movies, damaged tape sections, etc) then editing all of that down into bite sized pieces of nostalgic Australiana. Understand that this can be a long and slow process, so if uploads ever cease, please understand this is why.

I won't solely be uploading Australian content though. I do have a number of videos I've acquired that are from the UK, or NZ for example.

That being said, I am located in Perth, Western Australia. So the majority of the content I post, will be mainly catering to viewers who are also from the area.

The videos I post are solely for fun, I love learning about the world through the context of advertising. It has given me a greater understanding of what values were considered the norm across the past 40-50 odd years, specifically in Perth. Allowing me to grow a better awareness and context for the places and people that surround me.
