Benrus GG-W-113, Aug. 1976

Описание к видео Benrus GG-W-113, Aug. 1976

Today we look at my Uncle Jack's Navy Issued wrist watch from August of 1976.

The GG-W-113 was contracted from 1967 until the late 1980s. Manufacturers were Hamilton. Benrus, and Marathon. Seemingly small on paper at 34mm, the watch wears surprisingly well, probably due to the generous 41mm lug to lug length. Military specifications required a minimum of a 15 jewel movement with at least a 38hr power reserve, water resistance, and antimagnetic properties.

Hey, Welcome to the OFD Watch Channel. My name is Aron Dunlap, and I’m nuts about watches. What’s OFD you ask? Well, one of my best friends coined this term. It stands for “Only F@#*ing Dunlap” (sorry kids!!) due to some of the ridiculous things I can come up with, including watch collecting.

I have loved watches for years, but in the last few years really got into the collecting and studying aspect. I mainly buy Seiko and Orient watches, but I love everything out there!! (Omega, Oris, Rolex, Squale, Timex, Casio, Steinhart….and on and on and on)
