Korg Kross Tutorial | EPIC COMBI (Part 3) Magic Harmony Layers

In the third segment of the Epic Combi Programming series for the Korg Kross, I demonstrate how to create additional layers of sound that will add harmony to our original sounds. Some of the harmonies are simple intervals like a fourth and others alternate between fourth and major third. For each section of intervals you will need to program a separate timbre and split zone as well as transpose the pitch accordingly. I walk you through two different programs that feature this effect in our Africa (Toto) combi. Concepts covered in this video include - adding additional timbres, assigning MIDI channel(s), designating split zones, transposing the pitches by semitones to form harmonies, and music theory concepts like intervals and half-steps. Using the knowledge provided in this video, you should be able to customize your own magic harmonizing layers in the Kross.
