Kinetic Tetherball desk toy (Codename: H.A.T.S.) - Woodworking project

Описание к видео Kinetic Tetherball desk toy (Codename: H.A.T.S.) - Woodworking project

Welcome to Wood 'n' Stuff w/ Steve French!

This cool Kinetic Tetherball desk toy has intrigued everyone I've shown it to, including all the guys at the local woodworking club. I don't know the origin of this kinetic toy but I like it. I became aware of its existence from this video:    • Swing Thing   . But I do know (thanks to viewer comments) that it's a type of flying pendulum escapement.

I've taken the time to work out all the dimensions and
sketched up some plans that you may print out for free. In this video, I'm making a batch of 40, which I am selling as "kits" (requiring a minor amount of assembly). You, of course, only need to make one of each part.

Use #32 (3" x 1/8") rubber bands.

It's an easy project that packs a lot of bang for your effort. So it seems like a perfect project to share here on my channel. Enjoy and thank you very much for watching. Please take a moment to comment, rate, subscribe and share. Have a wonderful day.
