Listening to the pieces a bunch of times will make learning them a LOT easier, because you will have internalised the rhythms, melodic lines and harmonies, and your ears will be able to detect when you make mistakes before you ingrain them. Give it a try and see if it helps you learn the pieces much more quickly and easily.
