Hauling Firewood - Alaska Off Grid Vlog

Hauling firewood for us is an enjoyable task. Being from Northwest Montana, (logging country) we have been around chainsaws and getting firewood our whole life. Although there are many similarities, processing and hauling firewood in Alaska is quite different. When we get firewood in Alaska there is 3+ feet of snow on the ground. The reason being is, the easiest way for us to haul it is by snowmobile. This Alaska off grid vlog is just one of many that we have done about hauling firewood. It is how we keep our families warm all winter, and Alaska winters are long.
