This is a brief tutorial for the Maya class I instruct that demonstrates how parenting works within Maya. It demonstrates, through the construction of a simple solar system, how an object can be grouped to itself so that multiple independent translations can be imparted to the same object. This is a corrected update from my previous upload. This one has the correct aspect ratio so the video is not distorted.
