so after over ten years since the last formal exam in music, i was thinking about what sort of stuff i did to practise when i was a teenager, bedroom door closed, amp up to 11 (in head phones 50% of the time as dad worked night shift every other week.) i decided to pick up the trinity college book grades 6 7 and 8, and the session skills book to go with. after a few months of practice and an surprising end to a conversation with the other half, that ended in a new guitar arriving the following week.

i remember this song being played in the car on long journeys with my dad and thinking that is cool that he doesn`t use a pick and up untill recently never really had the confidence to attempt it, i have a few songs on the no fly list but its a stupid mental block i am working to get over.

the guitar i am playing i yet to be named. i have always wanted a hollow body guitar, but the 335 looked too big and bulky, i never really liked the telecaster but when i saw this, it jumped out at me and said "ah could be the hollowbodied pal you always wanted," and so far in the 2 weeks and multiple hours getting to know it, i have not been disapointed.
