Sweet Corn Dhokla Recipe | Sweet Corn Dhokla - Instant Corn Dhokla | स्वीट कॉर्न ढोकला | Dhokla Recipe
Ingredients:
For Dhokla:-
2 Corn Cob (remove corn)
Chopped Green Chilli & Ginger
1 cup fine Semolina (Suji / Rava)
2 tbs Gram Flour (Besan)
1/2 cup sour Curd (Khatta Dahi)
Pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Salt as per taste
1 tsp Fruit Salt (Eno)
Red Chilli Powder
For Chutney:-
Bhavnagari Gathiya (alternatively sev or peanuts can be used)
2-3 Green Chillies
1 big bunch of Coriander (cleaned)
1/2 Lemon Juice
Few Ice Cubes
Salt as per taste
For Tadka:-
1 tbs Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
1 tsp White Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
Pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
Chopped Coriander
Method:
In a mixer jar, take 2 Corn Cob (remove corn)
Add chopped Green Chilli & Ginger
Coarsely crush this mixture (without adding water)
Transfer in a mixing bowl, add 1 cup fine Suji
Add 2 tbs Besan
Add 1/2 cup Khatta Dahi
Mix it well and rest the batter for 15-20 min
Until the batter rest, let's prepare Gujarati style chutney
In a mixer jar, take Bhavnagari Gathiya
Add 2-3 Green Chillies
Add 1 big bunch of Coriander (cleaned)
Add 1/2 Lemon Juice
Add few Ice Cubes & churn to a smooth chutney
Add Salt as per taste and keep aside
Further add a pinch of Haldi in the batter
Add Salt as per taste and mix it
Keep the steamer ready on gas heat
Add 1 tsp Fruit Salt (Eno) & mix it
Quickly transfer the batter on the greased plate
Sprinkle Red Chilli Powder on it
Keep this plate in pre heated steamer
Cover the lid & steam dhokla for 20 min on high heat
Prepare Tadka for Dhokla:-
Heat 1 tbs Oil in a pan
Add 1 tsp Rai & pinch of Hing
Add Safed Til once Rai gets crackled
Pour this tadka on cut dhokla
Sprinkle chopped Coriander Leaves
Cut Dhokla into squares
Enjoy Scrumptious Sweetcorn Dhokla with Green Chutney
