Hey Everyone!

It’s been a while but I’m back at it in the shop! I took some time off at the holidays and then we decided to do a whirlwind renovation to our basement.

That being said, I am happy to be back in the shop with some new tools and a list of new projects and ideas for 2022!

Kicking it off is the addition of this new little 7-1/4” cordless miter saw! I grabbed some #TRACKTUBES from https://tracktubes.com/ and set up a portable little miter station. I quickly realized that I needed some support for longer work pieces so I came up with a basic plywood layout that matched the height of the miter deck. I simple used glue and beads to lock it all in and then allowed for adjustment via some Rockler hardware bits. I did not share any of the cut sizes as all miter saws are different and these variables can get confusing if I give too much detail. Simply, measure your deck height and make your supports just a 1/16" under that for clearance.
