Описание к видео EVERYTHING You Need To Know About Being A Language Assistant In Spain Part 2

Our 4 experiences as language assistants are completely different and we hope that they will be able to tell you everything you need to know about being a language assistant in Spain. We specificially work in Madrid but it will be very similar across most regions!

Aimée: Bilingual Primary - Outside the capital
Harry: Bilingual Primary - In the capital
Jen: Bilingual Secondary - Outside the capital
Mackenzie: Non-Bilingual Secondary - In the capital

In Part 2: we discuss the differences between working in a bilingual/non-bilingual school, what it's like being placed around ANY part of a region and what it's like travelling to work outside of the capital and the compulsorary MOOC course (which often they don't tell you about before applying!)

IF YOU MISSED PART 1, we talk about what it’s like teaching abroad during the pandemic, the pros and cons and what it’s like teaching with masks and the difficulties there. You don’t have to have any level of Spanish for this job and we discuss whether it’s sensible to have 0 knowledge of Spanish and why knowing Spanish can be better and where it is necessary. We also talk about the differences between being a language assistant in a primary vs a secondary school and which is better for you.
