NBC called Greg Kihn “Rock’s True Renaissance Man.” Apple iTunes Music called the Greg Kihn Band “A Rock Band of Genuine Consequence.” As a pioneer with the legendary Beserkley Records, Greg Kihn helped write the book on revolutionary West Coast Rock and Roll. He toured the world, had hit records, and won several awards for his hit songs “Jeopardy”, “The Break Up Song” and “Lucky”.

“Jeopardy” was originally released on the Kihnspiracy album in 1983. The song was written by Greg Kihn and Steve Wright. The single became a #1 Billboard Dance Hit, and secured Kihn an “International Artist of the Year” award. He additionally performed at Eurovision in the South of France. The success of the single resulted in the band’s first and only Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, reaching #2 in May 1983. It additionally was #1 on the dance charts for two weeks in April 1983 and reached #63 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the band’s only charting song in the UK. The song was parodied by Weird Al Yankovic in “I Lost on Jeopardy” in 1984, in which Kihn himself made a cameo in the music video.
