Last November, I turned 28, and it was probably one of the best birthdays I've had in a long time. I usually get melancholic and homesick when my birthday comes around, but last year, my family, friends, and boyfriend helped to make me feel so special and loved on my birthday, and so I did a little less crying and a lot more smiling than I had done in a long time.
