My Book Live came up with the error Data Volumes failed to mount and I decided that I want to take the hard drive out of the case and use it as a local hard drive.

Here are the sections of this video:

1. Break open the My book live case (This part of the video has no audio)
2. Connect to hard drive to the PC via a USB Mount.
3. Format the hard drive via Disk Management.
