One of the safest battery types available and able to power an ecig with great results. Now No batteries are absolutely safe and should be handled with care. Also I highly recommend the Eneloop based batteries or at a minimum LSD (low self discharge) NiMh batteries from very reputable sources. During research I have found NiMh explosions, the danger comes primarily from cells failing to vent and typically ones that had been soldered into packs. Always Always be careful with batteries no matter how Safe they are considered.
