Cel-Fi Go Installation, Registration & Review - Off Grid Internet Solution

In this video we share what we learned in the process of setting up an internet connection while living fully off grid, using the Cel-Fi Go Repeater device on the Telstra network.

Another interesting piece of info we learned from a technician about the Cel-Fi Go Booster is that its performance can vary slightly in the warmer months of Spring and Summer, when tree leaves become more thick and luscious. This is because the additional biomass creates more resistance for the signal to travel through. This wouldn't be the case in all situations, and would be pretty hard to pinpoint as the single cause, however we've noticed our connection has slowed a little in the warmer months.

If you're wondering about where to purchase this device, you can pick one up from Telstra directly, or it can also be purchased from some other retailers that specialise in Telecommunications Equipment & Antenna Solutions. There are a few options out there, but the main thing is to ensure you're getting the legal version of this device, registered with your service provider.

For our 2x 6 metre aluminium poles we went straight to a steel manufacturer in our local area.
