Описание к видео gLOCAL 2024 | Transforming Evaluation by Global Institutions to Achieve the SDGs in Health

In this gLOCAL event, GEI addresses a topic that begs the attention of global health institutions: How can evaluation better support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for health?

Global health programs are often large and complex, operating in real-world settings rather than in controlled research environments. For programs of such scale and magnitude, evaluation needs to be transformative to capture all the evidence necessary to guide and improve decision-making.

But how should this transformation begin? And who needs to take the first step?

Panelists:
Dugan Fraser - Program Manager, Global Evaluation Initiative
Nina Schwalbe - CEO and Founder, Spark Street Advisors
Peter Hansen - Head of Results and Learning. Global Financing Facility
James Hargreaves - Professor of Epidemiology and Evaluation, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
John Grove - Chief Evaluation and Learning Officer, The Global Fund

Moderator:
Candice Morkel - Director, Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Anglophone Africa
