Rushden & Diamonds 1997/98 Season Recap

After a slow start to the 1997/98 season, Rushden & Diamonds soon found form and climbed up the table and became title contenders before defeat at runaway leaders Halifax Town. The Diamonds still finished a very respectful 4th position in only their second season in the GM Vauxhall Conference.
