Klamath Falls, Oregon - This September the Favell Museum will continue its time-honored tradition of supporting exceptional artists as they present the Favell Museum Juried Art Show & Sale 2016. The show will feature contemporary, representational wall art and sculptures of over 30 artists from Washington, Idaho, Oregon and California.
The 2016 Juried Art Show and Sale’s opening weekend will be September 9-10, 2016. The artists’ reception will be held at the Favell Museum from 5:30 - 8 p.m. on Friday, September 9th. This ticketed event will include music, drinks, and specialty foods. The opening celebration will continue with a family-friendly event the next day, when artist demonstrations and youth art activities will be held at the museum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 10th.
For the entirety of the show, visitors will have the chance to participate in a scavenger hunt, make their mark on a collaborative art piece and vote for the “People’s Choice” artists that will be awarded cash prizes at the close of the show on Saturday, October 22nd.
