Dads career highlight was winning the 94 prestigious nationals in Nitro Funny Car and running his first 5-second pass and before that his career spanned 4 decades from FX right through to Nitro funny car.

When I took over driving I was the first person to get a nitro funny car licence with a 5-sec pass and went all the way to the final at the 95 nationals but unfortunately was taken out by another car so we couldn’t run the final. We ran the car with no luck for 1 1/2 seasons after the crash then political circumstance’s pushed us out of the sport when the governing body removed nitro funny car as a championship bracket we left the sport to concentrate on family and business and now we are back doing what we love on a low key has to be fun 😎
