As mentioned in the video, here are a few things you need to keep in mind to get this right ✅

One important exception is:
In supine Movements like “crunches” (eg: Naukasana lift from supine samasthiti), even though you are lifting your upper body up against the gravity, you’veto EXHALE or BREATH OUT because your chest is closing in or contracting in that movement.

Note for whoever is interested 🤗:
It’s alright if you are not able to figure this out on your own. Your teacher should do this guidance for you - a qualified & experienced teacher will do that. So If your teacher is not doing that, then either question them or find a better qualified teacher! Because proper breathing (especially where your spine is involved) can help you ease out that excess effort during the practice and reduce the fatigue.

⁠It’s completely fine IN THE BEGINNING, if you are not able to follow this exact breath pattern. Like everything else, this also takes practice. So eventually you’ll get a perfect hang of it - provided you pay attention & practice it in realtime.

⁠Syncing your breathing with your spine movement is important in practice, because both nourish & improve each other - overall health also gets better.
