I build this DIY FPV dive gate to practice flips, gaps, throttle control, and just about everything you'd want to practice that requires quick, controlled stick movements. The whole thing cost me about $45 and sets up in less than 5 minutes. I've been using this for about a week now and while my props get hammered, neither the dive gate nor the drone have broken. It's weird to me how this is vastly harder than the simulators I've tried: Velocidrone, Liftoff, Uncrashed, and even GTA V quadcopter mod. Lining up to dive a gap straight down is a whole new level of difficulty for me, but hopefully this dive gate will help me nail it down with more practice.
