From performing arts students to starring on and off Broadway and all around the world, Montclair State students are thriving in the world of show business and theatre. With MSU’s musical theatre programs preparing students for that hectic and busy lifestyle, as well as being just a short train ride away from the city, it is no surprise that these students are able to find success with so much opportunity.


On this edition of Carpe Diem, host and TVDM major Amanda Eustice sits down with Adriana Negron, who just came off a tour of “A Chorus Line in Shanghai, and Phil Sloves, who recently made his Broadway Debut in “Spongebob Squarepants the Musical”. They are also joined by one of MSU’s Theatre and Dance Associate professors, Mark Hardy to talk about how the department helps shapes its stars into the roles they play today on the big stage.


Carpe Diem also heads to Broadway to catch up with two MSU Alums,Rob McClure and Wonu Ogunfowora, who are currently starring in shows in NYC.
