The Ekatvam Holi Music Fest continued on March 12th, 2023 with its sixth theme, "Stringhaara." The violin duet of Akkarai Sister Subbulakshmi and Sornalatha performed, accompanied by Kulur Jayachandra Rao on the mridangam and Arunkumar on the percussion. The concert began with a Varnam in Raga Kanakangi and continued with Swathi Thirunal's krithi "Deva Deva Kalayamithe" in Mayamalavagoula.
The duo continued their performance with "Endhuku Itu," a Krithi in Raga Mandhari composed by Patnam Subramya Iyer, followed by "Akhilandeshwari" in Raga Dwijawanthi and "Attukadara" in Manoranjani. They presented an RTP in Keeravani, which was another highlight of their performance. During the thani, Sornalatha presented konnakol along with the percussion team, which added another layer of complexity to the performance.
The concert concluded with a Thillana in the Raga SindhuBhairavi, leaving the audience mesmerized. The performance was a treat for the music lovers who attended the festival. The duet's excellent coordination and skillful playing, along with the brilliant accompaniment of the mridangam and percussion, made the concert a memorable one.
