Yalın was born on March 30, 1980 in Nişantaşı, Istanbul. He is known for his song Zalim, which he debuted in 2004. He studied at Primary School Ataköy Primary School. Yalın's interest in music started when his father played Gipsy Kings and Enrico Macias songs with his guitar at home. While studying at Saint Michel French High School, he began to compose his first compositions while taking guitar lessons at Yurdaer Doğulu and Doğan Canku Music Schools. When he started studying Economics at Istanbul Bilgi University, he accelerated his composition studies and took the first steps towards the album. He is one of the most popular pop artists in Türkiye.
