I owned the Dodge Supercharger Roadster for 15 years from 1983-1998. In that time I participated in car shows and met some of the most interesting people in the Mopar community. I never had a boring drive in this car. Even though it barely fit in my garage, there was always room for it in the three states I lived in throughout my ownership. The Supercharger has been all over the US in various shows and once I drove it up to Canada, enjoying a thrilling drive home in the pouring rain.
Today the Supercharger sits in enclosed storage somewhere on the East Coast. It is too valuable to drive and enjoy the way I did when I owned it, but it sure was a great car to jump in and take for drives up the Pacific Coast Highway, jaunts to work on sunny Fridays in PA, and cruise ins on late summer nights down in So Cal.
I made this video for fun one afternoon in PA, just outside the neighborhood where I lived. And yes, that is me driving, narrating, and filming all at the same time.
