छोले भटूरे बनाने की आसान विधि ऐसी कि हर भटूरा फुलेगा | Chhole Bhature Banana | Soni Village Life

Chhole Bhature is a popular North Indian dish that consists of spicy chickpeas (chole) served with deep-fried bread (bhature). Here's a recipe for making Chhole Bhature at home:

Ingredients for Chhole:

1 cup dried chickpeas (kabuli chana), soaked overnight
2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped
2 medium-sized tomatoes, finely chopped
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
2-3 green chilies, slit lengthwise
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
2-3 cups water
Ingredients for Bhature:

2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
1/2 cup yogurt (dahi)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon oil
Water as required for kneading the dough
Oil for deep frying
Instructions for Chhole:

Drain the soaked chickpeas and rinse them thoroughly.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and slit green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder. Sauté for a minute.
Add soaked chickpeas, salt, and water. Mix well.
Pressure cook for 8-10 whistles or until the chickpeas are cooked through.
Once the pressure is released, open the lid and mash a few chickpeas with a spoon. This will help thicken the gravy.
Simmer for a few more minutes until the desired consistency is achieved.
Instructions for Bhature:

In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and oil.
Mix well and add yogurt.
Knead the dough using water as required.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into small circles.
Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
Carefully place the rolled bhature in hot oil and fry until they puff up and turn golden brown.
Drain the bhature on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Serve the hot and spicy Chhole with crispy Bhature, sliced onions, and green chutney. Enjoy your homemade Chhole Bhature!
