Grass Valley introduces EDIUS 9.30 at IBC. For existing EDIUS 9 customers, the update is available for free from 17th September 2018: https://www.edius.net/updates.html
The innovations are:
• Closed caption display, which allows subtitles to be switched on and off as needed
• 50/60p timecode display when editing 50/60p material
• RED Raw decoding GPU support for acceleration through the graphics card
• Extended optical flow options with improved image quality for slow motion
• Extended exporter with more formats and faster output
• Coloured sequence and clip markers for a better organization of the footage
• Extended format support for new camcorders
• Further improvements e.g. in the user interface as well as in the media management tool Mync

In addition, two campaigns start with IBC:
