BJT : Common Base Configuration Explained

Описание к видео BJT : Common Base Configuration Explained

In this video, the common base configuration of the BJT has been explained.

By watching this video, you will learn the following topics:

0:00 Introduction

1:11 What is Common Base Configuration

2:55 Input Characteristics of the Common Base Configuration

5:45 Output Characteristics of the Common Base Configuration

6:33 Three Different regions of operation (Active, Saturation, and Cut-off)

10:52 Signal Amplification in CB Configuration

Common Base Configuration of BJT:

In the case of the Common Base (CB)configuration, the base terminal is common between the input and the output side.

In this configuration, the input is applied between the emitter and the base terminal while the output is measured between the base and the collector terminal.

These are the few properties of the CB configuration:
Low input impedance
High Output Impedance
Low current gain
High Voltage Gain
Low Power Gain

In this video, the input and the output characteristics of the common base configuration have been explained with the graphs and at the end how the signal is amplified in the CB configuration has been explained.

This video will be helpful to everyone in understanding the common base configuration of the BJT.
