The sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra to protest the detention of her leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government recorded total compliance in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State, on Monday.

In Umuahia, the state capital, the order recorded a high level of compliance as many shop owners did not open for business.

Also, commercial Banks, private schools and other cooperate service providers did not open shop.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) order that people sit at home every Monday, starting from today, 9th August 2021, to compel the government of Nigeria to release their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who has claimed three lives in Anambra State.
