Na pagsasamahin ang labing-dalawang magigiting na Pilipino na may taglay na sipag at galing para maging pinuno,” said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. when he announced the 12 Senatorial Candidates of the ‘Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas’—currently the largest political coalition in the country — during a convention held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.

“Tangan ang prinsipyong makatao, maka-Diyos, makabansa… Sa aking pag-endorso, ang tanging hiling ko ay mapanatili ang kanilang katapatan at pagmamahal sa bansa,” the President added in his remarks, naming the senatorial slate of the Administration coalition as ‘Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas’ for the May 2025 election. These are:

- Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin ‘Benhur’ Abalos Jr.
- Makati City Mayor Abigail ‘Abby’ Binay-Campos
- Senator Pilar Juliana ‘Pia’ Cayetano
- Former Senator Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson Sr.
- Senator Manuel ‘Lito’ Lapid
- Senator Maria Imelda Josefa Remedios ‘Imee’ Marcos
- Former Senator Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Pacquiao
- Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr.
- Former Senate President Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto III
- Senate Majority Leader Francis ‘Tol’ Tolentino
- House Deputy Majority Leader and ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo
- House Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas City Lone District Representative Camille Villar

He further underscored that the line-up consists of veteran Senators — those with experience working in Congress, serving in local government and holding a Cabinet position. In terms of geographical representation, he noted, “Dalawa ang [taga]-Mindanao: Pacquiao ng Bukidnon, Saranggani at GenSan.

Atin po sila ay samahan at suportahan,” President Marcos Jr. ended in his message.

The ‘Alyansa’ is composed of the nation’s five (5) leading political parties, namely the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), Nacionalista Party (NP) and National Unity Party (NUP). All are rallying behind the call for unity and a commitment to achieving the transformation that will bring about progress for the country and address the urgent needs of every Filipino.
