I solve a system consisting of a mass anchored to a point (that can move!) with a spring. This is a much more interesting system when solved on a computer, compared with pen and paper. I even include what physicist are indoctrinated to dread since their first mechanics class - friction! Well actually it's just a damping term. Close enough.
