There are many game modes in Battlefield 2042. For instance, conquest is a Battlefield staple, it's a huge map you capture and hold objectives in a PVP match. The more points you hold, you win. However I will be playing breakthrough. It's a game mode that has a linear objective where you progress into each objective with a certain number of lives, or you defend the objective until lives run out.
